Auch J\u00fcdinnen*Juden. Sie sind keine die Geister der Vergangenheit.<\/p>

Die Massaker der islamistischen Terrororganisation Hamas auf Israel am 7. Oktober 2023 wurde zum Anlass, von dem aus sowohl die katastrophalen als auch die herzzerrei\u00dfend sch\u00f6nen, solidarischen Seiten des Fu\u00dfballs mehr in den Vordergrund traten.
Stadien sind ein \u201cBrennglas\u201d der Gesellschaft, hei\u00dft es. Antisemitismus gibt es auch hier \u2013 die Gemeinschaft der Fans ist br\u00fcchig. Aber es gab eben auch die gro\u00dfe Anteilnahme.

Dieses Buch geht weit \u00fcber den 7. Oktober hinaus.<\/p>

Monty Ott<\/strong> ist Politik- und Religionswissenschaftler sowie politischer Schriftsteller. In seinen Arbeiten setzt er sich mit Antisemitismus, Erinnerungskultur, Intersektionalit\u00e4t und Queerness auseinander und bringt neue Perspektiven in gesellschaftliche Debatten ein. Mit seinem viel beachteten Essay \u201eInzwischen ist es kalt geworden\u201c<\/em>, ver\u00f6ffentlicht in\u00a0DIE ZEIT<\/em>\u00a0Anfang 2023, lieferte er eine pr\u00e4gnante Analyse des Antisemitismus in linken Bewegungen \u2013 und nahm damit Entwicklungen vorweg, die nach dem 7. Oktober 2023 verst\u00e4rkt in den Fokus r\u00fcckten. Seit \u00fcber einem Jahrzehnt engagiert er sich aktiv in der antisemitismuskritischen Bildungsarbeit. Derzeit arbeitet er an seiner Dissertation zur\u00a0\u201eQueeren j\u00fcdischen Theologie\u201c.<\/em><\/p>

Ruben Gerczikow<\/strong> ist Autor und Publizist. Er recherchiert zu antisemitischen Strukturen im analogen und digitalen Raum. In der Vergangenheit hat er bereits f\u00fcr zahlreiche Print- und Onlinemedien in Deutschland geschrieben. Seine Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen behandeln die Themenfelder Antisemitismus, Rechtsextremismus, Islamismus und j\u00fcdische Gegenwart. Das Medium Magazin w\u00e4hlte ihn 2025 zu den \u201eTop 30 bis 30″ Nachwuchstalenten des Landes.<\/p>

Anfang 2023 ver\u00f6ffentlichten beide den Reportageband\u00a0\u201eWir lassen uns nicht unterkriegen\u201c \u2013 Junge j\u00fcdische Politik in Deutschland<\/em>\u00a0(Hentrich & Hentrich).
Im September 2025 erscheint ihr zweites gemeinsames Werk, der Sammelband\u00a0\u201eJuden auf den Pl\u00e4tzen, Juden auf den R\u00e4ngen\u201c<\/em>\u00a0im Verlag Die Werkstatt.\u00a0<\/p>
